So I was in the queue at the supermarket checkouts, and the guy in front of me had for some reason picked up a single can of baked beans from a four-pack. Obviously the cash register wasn't too happy about the barcode on this thing, so the cashier apparently more-or-less made up a price for it, and rang it through...as "ambient food".

Oh, and I was seduced by a special offer into buying a cappuchino/espresso machine.
