Well, I finally caved in and bought a telly yesterday. (Safeway's cheapo 32" widescreen special.) I still need a TV stand and an aerial, though. This flat seems to have an NTL box on the wall but no aerial socket, and I don't suppose you can get a signal from the NTL box without actually dealing with NTL...

I also need to get the damn thing out of the car and up the stairs to the flat. It only fit in the car because we took it out of the box first :->
